My Version - SXSW 2005
So, here's my photo version of the SXSW Music Festival... on my drive down there I decided to take advantage of the bumper to bumper traffic on the upper deck and take some photos... The Rose Bowl Champs sign and the very overcast Austin Skyline. I really liked the Rose Bowl sign... simple yet bragging. There were SO many people in town the week of March 13 - 20! The signs at the Dizzy Rooster, where the Austin Indie Alliance set up camp for a long week of shows... that's Nooner's poster high above 6th Street. We all had a great time and saw so many great bands play that I can't remember them all! One of my favorites, other than the obvious of Nooner and Bag100, is Goodwin. They are from the DFW area and so much fun to watch perform. Last year I was a little irritated with Ben because he was gone so much. This year, I went down there more and now I understand why he does it! So, next year I'll try to get some time off from my slave-driving job...
