Hook 'em!
So, UT baseball lives for another weekend :-). First round of regional playoffs "on the road to Omaha" will be this weekend, and we first play a team called the Quinnipiac Bobcats. Some of my New York-y friends or previous East Coasters will probably recognize that, but I have never heard of them. The other two teams in this regional are Arkansas (soooooooiee!) and Miami University (Ohio). Last year I don't think UT got the "opportunity" to play against the pigs, as they went "2 and Q" if I remember correctly. It's always fun to play a former SWC rival.

Hehe.. Quinnipiac University is in Hamden, CT - a subburb of New Haven, and my East Coast hometown. You know me and sports though, so I had no idea they had baseball team worthy of playing UT. :)
I knew it! That was mostly directed at you :-). They won their conference, but poor kids... we beat them 20 - 2, and they lost today 35-8. 'Course, we got smoked by the Hawgs of Ar-kansas today.
