Hook 'em!
Of my countdowns this year... 2 are high on the priority list. 1) of course, is Disney, at which the count is now 8 days :-) and just as important is 2) less than one month to the first
UT BASEBALL HOME GAME OF 2005! Now that Disney is so close I can hardly stand it. Work is finally semi caught up. I'm sure there will be some sort of emergency while I am gone, but all will survive. And then... BASEBALL! YAAAHOOOO! Ben becomes a "baseball widower" from February to June each year. If he'd just go to a few games with me he MIGHT enjoy it. The photo is of me and our friend Jerry. His wife Amy shows up sometimes, but she is expecting the newest Longhorn in May, so I don't know if we'll see much of her this season! I've already started stocking up on Longhorn baby things for her. Oh, there is one more countdown. Ben has mysteriously booked a trip for us on my birthday. Won't tell me where or anything about it. He says he'll let me know a few days in advance if it will be hot or cold... Can't wait to see what that's all about!!!

the celebration continues...
When you turn 30, it really is your birthday MONTH, not just your birthday DAY. Bag100 had a great show at Bigsby's on 6th Street. And the crowd was successful in their bid to slosh Christine. We had a lovely spanking machine set up... And I'm pretty sure C's butt is hurting today. Well, and her head too. Look at my photo link for some more silliness.
January is a very busy month musically. Ben and the Nooner boys are going to Houston today for a gig. Ben leaves tomorrow for Ottawa, where the high today is 29, the low is 12. Good luck there dude, I'll stay here thank you. He comes home next Thursday, has a Nooner gig on Friday, and then the NEXT weekend Bag100 and Nooner are both playing in Houston. Then we leave for Disney. Should be a prolific photo month, so stay tuned!

Ha! I'm going to be in so much trouble for that photo! I recently returned from a great mini-vacation with CNN, in celebration of C's 30th Birthday!!! We went to Shreveport gamblin' and drinkin', and made it home broke and hungover. All in all a successful trip. C's parents were there too, though I have to wonder if they'll ever want to be anywhere with Nicole and I again. (un)fortunately, Nicole figured out how to get around those weak casino freebie drinks. If you know us at all, you know the rest of the story. We don't even have to explain. We were missing an important part of the celebration, Miss K, but we somehow managed to have a little fun ...
Hm. Anyway. It was a lot of fun, and reality
is sucking right now.
And only 19 more days to Disney!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Well, I must say we had a great time last night. This after much grumbling about having to go downtown for the New Year's Eve celebration on 6th Street. Most of our friends were there to see Tim playing with a cover band called Stummies. Not sure if I spelled that right. I met up with Baby Cuzzin Alison too! Hung with her for awhile at Coyote Ugly. AIA had a showcase of bands going on at Bigsby's. Then Tim's group played at REDRUM, formerly Jakarta Jaks. It's a tiny little bar upstairs from Coyote. Very warm in there. Ben and I live so far out of town, we decided against a cab and braved it. Neither of us got drunk, so it was no big deal! Got in very late, had a Route 44 Diet Coke from Sonic for breakfast, and I'm up for some Rose Bowl Football!
