Happy 13th Birthday Krista Kay!
My niece, Krista, is growing up way too fast. In age and HEIGHT! We had a nice family outing yesterday for the UT-Baylor Baseball game at Disch-Falk Field. Alison and Cayle came, along with the new one in Alison's belly!
Sammy & Ginny, Alison's 'rents and my uncle and aunt, and David with Krista and her friend "kute as bug" Kylee. The game was very drawn out since it was being shown on TV, so around 7th innning we got a bit bored. Not a boring game at all, though - all three games in this series were nail biters. Most of us headed back to the lawn chairs. On the way, Kylee decided to ask the firefighters (they come to a lot of the games, parking their rig behind left field) if they could climb up so they could see the game. The girls ended up getting the full tour, trying on the gear, and were all giggly about it. (13 year olds are something else!) Here's a few photos.
