The wait is *almost* over
The most anticipated game of the Texas Longhorns' season is almost here. Tomorrow they play the Buckeyes of Ohio State here in Austin. I've heard rumors of the influx of Buckeye fans - expected to be 40 to 50,000? yikes! I won't be going anywhere near downtown tomorrow!
The news folks on the local morning show described the sunrise as decidedly burnt orange and pronounced it a good omen....

i live in rural Ohio and one of the only things that keeps me going are trips back to the Shangri-la that is River City. so you can imagine my bemusement when my last trip falls on the OSU weekend. My brother flew in that weekend from Chicago and had the good fortune to be booked on a flight full of drunk Buckhorns. =80
