Our talking caller id phone says "Call from Brown, Ti-mo-thy" in a very robotic voice when Tim calls. Well, it used to, when he and Liz had a home phone. But it is stuck in my brain.

Close enough! Let's call it 2 weeks...
Weeeeeeeee! Really looking forward to our mini Disney Trip! I say mini because Ben and I usually go for more time, but I could only drag my brother away from work for a couple of days. And special thanks to Auntie Moe for agreeing to pick the dog up for us...he'll be on the front couch waiting for us when we get home.

The Weekend
So - fun weekend. Ben was home again. Yay! We did "stuff" then Saturday night decided to attend the Italian Fest benefiting the Austin Museum of Art. It was held at the Laguna Gloria site on West 35th St. Beautiful grounds! Lots of fun and the bonus for the evening was Liz & Friends giving up some opera tunes for the masses! And you may not have even heard this one. We all know how the media sucks. But since this landing was uneventful, its headlines were either buried or non-existent. Endeavour Lands Safely

Beagle, It's Your Birthday...

Mr. Elway is 12 years old today! We celebrated Tuesday night, with a trip to PetsMart. Healthwise he is doing better than we ever expected...it's been just over a year since he was diagnosed with intermediate cell leukemia and t-cell lymphoma... Crazy, huh?
Here he is getting birthday treats!

Thanks, She Craves!
She Craves hosted a party on our friend Scott's houseboat this past Sunday on Lake Travis. The lake has been closed most of the summer, so it was crowded...but fun!
