AAAAAHHHH.... Yes.
Baseball is here! Didn't go to the opener yesterday, but there was a double-header today. It was Butt-Ass cold (to use a Benism) but fun! Texas played University of Illinois-Chicago. So far Tommy Harmon is undefeated as head coach. ;-) The stadium is all done and looks great - and the parking still stinks. The field has some new kind of FieldTurf - no dirt except for on the pitcher's mound. Very strange! (Check out the photos - looks like 60's shag carpet) Not many folks there today - Brown, Timothy joined me, and Alison, Alan, and David were all there. Good times are just beginning! And then I found out while watching the news that the UT Men's Basketball team achieved the impossible tonight - they BEAT OU!

Kristin F. pointed me to your site (and this post). What's with missing the season opener?! Hell, I flew down from Ohio for it! And the weather was a LOT warmer on Friday. Those are some great shots. Hook 'em! (Those four wins count towards Augie's record, I heard -- the NCAA leaves it up to the school to determine if wins/losses for a suspended coach count towards his record or not, and UT decided they would).
